DEV Hotel and Conference Centre is looking for an outstanding individual to join us in the position of **House Person in the Housekeeping department**.

The DEV facility is home to the largest hotel and conference center in Eastern Ontario. The site is located on 75 acres of indoor and outdoor space in Cornwall, Ontario and is ideal for gatherings and conferences of any size. The hotel offers over 500 guest rooms, as well as 70,000 square feet of dynamic and flexible meeting space. For decades, the facility has continued to evolve and is the site of choice for corporate conferences, sporting events, government training programs, and more.

**Summary**

We are looking for a qualified and talented individual with housekeeping experience. The Housekeeping Team Member plays an integral role in the cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel by providing support to the Room Attendants, and will be responsible for all public areas within the hotel and all areas under the responsibility of the Housekeeping Manager.

**Duties**
- Washing walls, windows, blinds, ceilings, light fixtures and pictures ;
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors, remove stains from walls and floors and glass partitions, etc.
- Dust areas that are not accessible from the floor.
- Store light furniture and miscellaneous objects;
- Empty waste baskets; you deliver clean laundry to room attendants;
- Take down dirty laundry from floors and change garbage bags from carts;
- Stock required areas with towels, soaps, toilet paper, etc. ;
- Maintain and disinfect public areas washrooms and common rooms;
- Check rooms and report any damage or defects in the rooms;
- Respect and follow the sanitary guidelines described by the brand and the Management, using recognized, certified and approved cleaning products;

**Qualifications sought**
- 1 year or less of experience in a similar position in the hotel industry
- Bilingual - oral and written (French and English)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
