Order Management Specialist

**What does the role include?**

As a member of the Operations Team, the Order Management Specialist is responsible to provide top-tier customer service to all Three Farmers customers through the proactive management of orders from the time of receipt through delivery.

Partner with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to ensure best in class results.

Develop and sustain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvements.

Initiate and maintain regular dialogue with stakeholders to resolve and prevent issues and to facilitate understanding of the order management process.

Identify opportunities to improve order management processes and drive team efficiencies.

**What are your primary responsibilities and expectations?**
- Manage orders in a timely & accurate manner adhering to Requested Arrival Date compliance and performing due diligence on incoming orders to ensure all data points are valid (Price, UOM, MOQ’s, etc).
- Investigate and resolve all non-compliance fines in a timely manner while ensuring only valid non-compliance fines are being accepted.
- Recommend opportunities for improvements to proactively manage and mitigate charges. Conduct root cause analysis to drive EFO (Error Free Order) for assigned customer portfolio.
- Report to the appropriate stakeholders on progress towards month-end targets and enforcing Three Farmers’ Procedures in an effort to drive operational efficiency and increase EFO (Error Free Order) Metric.
- Actively update and maintain customer profiles. Partner with internal/external stakeholders to drive improvements to order management processes.
- Lead new customer onboarding inclusive of logistics setup, EDI compliance, and customer service requirements, working closely with both sales and finance.
- Support office clerical responsibilities when required such as answering phones, managing mail, etc.
- Assist in developing and executing the inventory management strategy of the company with the goal to control costs within budget, generate savings, rationalize inventory, and maximize the working capital available.
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct quantities and batches are in stock and validate bin location accuracy.
- Participate in regular audits and spot checks for inventory.
- Manage the integrity of the inventory data in ERP and respond to internal questions on product inventory levels.
- Assist in the preparation of the inventory and other reports for customers and for internal purposes.
- Support team in reconciliation investigations.
- Assist in organizing labeling with third parties, including costing analysis & budget management of additional labeling costs.
- Assist with facilitating new product launches inclusive of procurement of new materials, coordinating packaging and fulfillment timelines, etc.

**What are the qualifications we are looking for?**
- 2 years of Supply Chain / Order Management experience or relevent education
- 2 years Administrative and/or accounting would be an asset
- Background in CPG industry would be an asset
- Strong Excel and Analytical mindset are required.
- Sound knowledge of EDI is an asset

- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Professional attitude required when dealing with vendors, truck drivers, delivery personnel, etc.
