**Digital Transformation**

**Primary Responsibilities**

Project Planning & Execution:

- Assess and document business requirements by liaising with internal departments and key personnel to develop project goals, objectives, roles, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with Communications personnel to ensure all phases and expectations of the projects are communicated internally and externally where required.
- Assess and develop mitigation strategies for potential risks to a successful project completion.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead and support cross-functional teams consisting of developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to execute project deliverables.
- Provide clear guidance, communication, and support to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and communication for all involved parties.

Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, management, team members, and external vendors.
- Develop and execute change management strategies that minimize obstacles and ensure a smooth adoption of the digital change.

Budget & Resource Management:

- Collaborate with the Finance and IT leadership to prepare and track project budgets and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.

Quality Assurance:

- Ensure projects are developed and executed in accordance with project management best practices, IT governance standards, and ABSA’s internal quality management program (ISO 9001).
- Conduct project assessment reports after completion to capture lessons learned and opportunities for process improvements.

**Qualifications, Skills, and Experience**

Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.
- Formal education or training in change management strategies (Prosci, ACMP, or similar).

Experience
- 5+ years experience in IT digital transformation project management.
- A strong understanding of software development, enterprise wide system upgrades, change management systems integration, and/or digital infrastructure projects.
- Applied experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Asana, etc.)

Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as “Agile” or “Waterfall”.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and software development lifecycle.
- Proficient in risk management, budgeting, and resource planning.
