As a Canadian comfort food concession, we serve tasty hot foods fast in Victoria and are open evenings during the week and late on weekends.

This summer we are looking for team members to cashier and serve food at 1221 Wharf Street, Victoria, BC. We also have food preparation and cooking shifts available.

Hours are generally evenings - weekdays and weekends from 4 pm onwards and can be flexible for exams etc.

We offer staff discounts, ability to earn tips, and benefits after 3 months.

The work is hard and can be repetitive, however it is a good position for a student or anyone looking to gain experience, save up, and pay for tuition.

Previous concession, cashier, and serving experience is beneficial but not necessary. More pay for more experience but willing to train

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
- Provide menu recommendations and answer inquiries regarding food and beverages
- Process customer payments using cash registers or electronic systems
- Assist in food preparation and ensure orders are delivered promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and workstations
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times

Qualifications:

- Experience in the food industry is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation and handling
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and order processing
- Previous experience in cashiering or restaurant service is beneficial
- Understanding of food safety practices and protocols
