**POSITION OVERVIEW**
**PRIMARY DUTIES**
- Oversees compliance for all Canadian benefit and compensation programs
- Provides leadership and expertise for compensation, group benefits and pension within Canada
- Designs and administrates total rewards programs including base pay, incentive pay, pay equity, annual compensation review, vacation policy, group insurance program, defined contribution pension plan and market analysis with a focus on continuous improvement
- Leads all Compensation reviews/merit increases/bonuses for Canadian sites: preparation and validation, planning and implementation and communication (in French and English)
- Provides expert consultation to HRBPs on compensation philosophy for offers of employment, promotional increases, and other off-cycle adjustments, to attract and retain top talent
- Provides data analysis ensuring that the compensation and benefits programs aligns with the business strategy while ensuring Canadian market competitiveness
- Evaluates positions and maintains job structures for their respective units in line with the overall region and global structure
- Applies the Pay Equity requirements in Quebec
- Acts as the Committee President of the dormakaba Canada Inc. Defined Contribution Pension Plan Committee.
- Manages benefits vendor relationships, benefits contracts, and bid negotiation
- Plana and delivers total rewards education, communication, and change management for new plan/policy rollouts
- Develops and implements HR standard work and leads recurring compliance activities:

- Establishes and maintains a standardized set of HR processes and manages the integrity and security of employee data according to applicable laws and regulations
- Helps to define requirements for systems that will facilitate increased efficiencies, automation and/or self-service for various HR processes.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or HR management
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation and benefits in Canada
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office and advanced Microsoft Excel Skills required
- Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding
- Solid organization/project management skills and experience with process improvement necessary
- Must be able to plan and prioritize against multiple targets, tight timelines and leveraging metrics to show results

- Superviser la conformité de tous les programmes canadiens d'avantages sociaux et de rémunération
- Fournir un leadership et une expertise en matière de rémunération, d'avantages sociaux collectifs et de retraite au Canada
- Concevoir et administrer les programmes de rémunération globale, y compris la rémunération de base, la rémunération incitative, l'équité salariale, la révision annuelle de la rémunération, la politique de vacances, le programme d'assurance collective, le régime de retraite à cotisations déterminées et l'analyse du marché, en mettant l'accent sur l'amélioration continue
- Diriger toutes les révisions de la rémunération, les augmentations de salaire et les primes pour les sites canadiens : préparation et validation, planification, mise en œuvre et communication (en français et en anglais)
- Fournir une consultation experte aux HRBP sur la philosophie de rémunération pour les offres d'emploi, les augmentations promotionnelles et autres ajustements hors cycle, afin d'attirer et de retenir les meilleurs talents
