Long Haul Owner Operator, Class 1 Flatbed Driver

**FLATBED** OWNER OPERATORS - **2-3 weeks OTR Long Haul**
- MUST own your own truck - no L/P
- 80% line haul for experienced drivers with their own flatbed trailer
- 70% line haul if you do not have your own flatbed trailer
- High mileage freight, flatbed
- **2+ weeks on the road (OTR), with 3-4 days home**:

- **20+ days out per month**:

- **Class 1 with 3 years of experience required, MUST own your own truck**

Looking for Owner Operator Flatbed Truck Drivers - Briere Transportation Limited division is currently hiring Class 1 Owner Op drivers. We have the ability and willingness to flex work to a driver’s situation to optimize work life balance as much as possible.
- Fuel Card provided
- Insurance available in-house with our discounts
- High mileage, high paying freight, flatbed long haul
- Steel bars, coils, specialty and oversize loads
- Tarping will be required for most of our freight

**Job Requirements**:

- Truck must pass a DOT inspection and be in good working order
- Class 1 driver’s license with **minimum** 3 years of experience
- Valid Passport and Willingness to Travel to the USA is Required
- Cross Border experience
- Driver abstract must be in good standing with no more than 2 demerits.
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Minimum 2 years Rocky Mountain driving in all seasons
- Passing a Drug Test as Required for DOT compliance program

**You should be able to**:

- Operate Class 1 tractor trailer combination
- Tarp and secure flatbed freight
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, safety coordinator and management
- 100% ELD HOS/FMSCA compliant, electronic DVIR pre and post trip.
- Fluent in English to complete trip reports etc. as needed.
- Physically capable and able (ability to lift or maneuver 60 lbs) to participate in the loading and unloading of wheeled/crated equipment should the need arise (infrequent).
- Ability to navigate various APP’s (ELD, Arrive/Depart, POD) on cell phone or tablet.
