Job Title: Geophysicist - RQ 22-45

As a part of this challenging role your specific responsibilities will be to:

- Generate fully integrated subsurface/seismic interpretations within a team of Petrophysicists, Geologists, Reservoir Engineers, Completions Engineers and Production Engineers
- Conduct 2D and 3D seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation, incorporating both traditional and advanced techniques
- Complete quantitative seismic interpretation (where applicable) including rock physics modeling, fluid substitutions, AVO modeling and inversion
- Provide geophysical support for drill planning and drilling operations, including depth conversion, horizontal well planning and risk identification
- Share technical expertise and knowledge with geophysical peers, and across disciplines
- Bachelor of Science in Geophysics
- Minimum 7 years of experience with proven track record of oil and gas exploration and development
- Professional geoscientist with APEGA
- Strong motivation to incorporate and promote emerging technologies
- Strong understanding of the relationship between seismic data and rock properties
- Competency in Seisware; RokDok; Hampson Russell; Accumap
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Well developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to work independently
