**Receptionist/ Physiotherapy Assistant**
This position is part of a healthcare team which includes licensed physiotherapists, athletic therapists, massage therapists and trainers, who create an environment that empowers people to achieve and maintain optimal movement, function and health.

Initially, the primary role will be our receptionist and the first face to greet our clients
As the clinic grows, so will the role of the Physiotherapy Assistant. The PT Assistant will support the physiotherapists in the delivery of physiotherapy services to patients and clients in accordance with clinic policies and protocols. The Physiotherapy Assistant is an integral member of the musculoskeletal health care team and assists with the implementation of treatment plans that are developed by the physiotherapists. The Physiotherapy Assistant works closely with other healthcare professionals, volunteers and clients or patients to ensure quality service delivery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle treatment and patient records.
- Answering the phone, making appointments.
- Receiving payments from clients, creating invoices etc.
- Light duties around the clinic, such as folding laundry.
- Assist with the administration of treatments.
- Assist the physiotherapist in carrying out the treatment plan
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
