Dishwasher/kitchen Helper

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation standards.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Clean work areas, including countertops, floors, and storage spaces to promote a safe working environment.
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours by delivering ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Participate in inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages to supervisors.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with team members.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform tasks that may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
- A passion for cooking and eagerness to learn about various culinary techniques.

Pay: $15.00-$19.56 per hour
