Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food service and hospitality, eager to gain experience in a fast-paced setting. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and other essential tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high standards of hygiene and safety.

Duties

  • Assist with basic food preparation and cooking under supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment
  • Support food handling procedures following safety guidelines
  • Help organize and store ingredients and supplies appropriately
  • Assist with serving food during meal times as needed
  • Ensure proper disposal of waste and adherence to sanitation standards
  • Support the team in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment at all times

Skills

  • Experience or familiarity with cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • Previous restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and basic cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
