**Monday - Friday In office position required ( Wellesley, Ontario)**

**Your key responsibilities will be**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Parts Coordinator**: Source and order parts needed for generator service and repair jobs. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing when possible, and **ensure parts are on hand for scheduled work.**:

- **Inventory Management & Cycle Counts**: Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts. You'll track all parts movement in our **ERP system (Odoo)**, flagging any discrepancies or shortages immediately.
- **Shop Organization & Housekeeping**: Keep the shop organized and accessible. This includes properly labeling shelves, bins, and racks, and maintaining a clean and safe parts area.

**Daily Operations Support**:

- **Parts Picking & Job Preparation**: Pick and stage parts for service jobs and technician requests, confirming accuracy against work orders. You will also prepare items for shipment as needed.
- **Receiving & Stocking**: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying them against purchase orders before stocking parts in their correct locations.
- **Coordination with Technicians & Service Manager**: Communicate with technicians to ensure they have the necessary parts for each job. You'll also support urgent requests for breakdown jobs and report recurring part issues to management.
- **Documentation & Record Keeping**: Maintain up-to-date records of all parts usage, returns, and warranty claims. You will also organize purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
- **Cost Control & Budget Awareness**: Track spending against budget limits and suggest cost-effective alternatives to OEM parts when they are unavailable or too expensive.
- **Process Improvement**: Help us work better. You will suggest and assist in implementing improvements to our shop flow, parts tracking, and inventory systems.
- **Support Scheduling**: Provide accurate parts availability information to our scheduler to ensure realistic job planning and communicate any delays from suppliers.

This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in our Advanced Gnerator service team's success. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to meet customer needs efficiently and effectively

**Requirements**:
The Parts Coordinator should possess a combination of **technical knowledge,**communication skills, and strong organizational abilities:

- **Technical knowledge** - Prior experience in parts coordination, inventory control, or warehouse/shop organization. Comfortable with inventory counting, receiving, stocking, and parts picking.
- Attention to detail - **accurately identify parts** and ensure that orders are filled correctly.
- Communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and other team members, both in person and in writing.
- Customer service - Contact with vendors and internal departments.
- Organizational skills - highly organized, with the ability to manage inventory, track orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Problem solving skills - able to quickly identify and address issues related to parts and inventory management.
- Time management - able to manage their time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Valid drivers license

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
