Junior / Intermediate Autocad Technician

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Create 2D layouts of playgrounds and splash pads in AutoCAD based on safety guidelines and through the direction of the sales team
- Produce 3D renderings showing final design concepts using 3DSMax
- Adjust or revise 2D designs submitted from suppliers
- Produce parts drawings and various site layouts under the guidance of senior designer
- Make changes to renderings using Photoshop or similar photo editing software
- Review architectural site plans to ensure that project requirements are met
- Request and coordinate site requirements such as locates, fencing and amenities
- Produce order completion packages such as drawing binders and spare parts
- Coordinate with installers site details such as equipment layout and foundation
- Publish, post, and manage drawing sets with proper drawing revisions
- Other tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D Layouts
- Familiarity to 3D renderings packages such as 3DSMax, SketchUp or Revit would be an asset
- Operational knowledge of Adobe design software would be desirable
- Good knowledge of construction and design principles
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work within a team, sharing workloads to meet project deadlines
- Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a “team player” approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle

**Education and Experience**

Certificate or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the architectural/ engineering/ contractor industry.

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
