**Jobs** **Information / resources** **Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Mechanical, Structural, and Avionics)** **Job description**: - Identify problems with aircraft structural, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical - systems; - Adjust and repair these systems in accordance with applicable specifications, - technical drawings, manuals and procedures; - Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems; - Install or modify aircraft engines or other aircraft systems, such as mechanical and - hydraulic systems, flight control systems, fuel systems and pneumatic systems; - Disassemble airframes, engines or other aircraft systems for repair, refurbishment, - cleaning and reassembly; - Perform routine maintenance and report on it; - Identify and place material orders in accordance with company policies; - Order parts and supplies and maintain an inventory; - Inform the Quality Assurance Supervisor of irregularities on maintenance work tasks; - Ensure that the work is performed according to quality standards, AAR policies - and procedures and applicable regulations; - Work closely with the aircraft team leader to ensure that work is completed on schedule; - Ensure that the aircraft documentation is complete and in accordance with the company's and operator's standards; 1 **Jobs** - Ensure that the workplace is clean and safe at all times; - Ensure that the 5"S" program is respected at all times; - Promote the quality management system and make suggestions for - improvement; - Adhere to and enforce new security policies. **Skills and qualifications**: - Hold technical or college training in aircraft maintenance in mechanical, structural or - avionics; - Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in the maintenance of civil or military aircraft; - Good adaptability, organizational skills, attention to detail; - Be available to work a variety of shifts. - This employer is an equal opportunity employer with an equal access to employment program for women, Aboriginal peoples, visible minorities, ethnic minorities and persons with disabilities. 2
