We are looking for a
**Community Grounds Team Leader **to join our RiverBend Team RiverBend Golf Community is owned and operated by Sifton Properties Ltd. and is comprised of 400+ professionally maintained residential properties, exquisite Clubhouse, and an incredible 18-hole championship golf course that rests in the heart of the community. As the
**Community Grounds Team Leader** you will be responsible for assisting in the daily co-ordination of staff while ensuring the general upkeep and maintenance of the community grounds and property.

About the Role:

- Provide direction and support to the community grounds team, monitoring standards of performance, upholding safety practices and ensuring work assignments are effectively distributed and completed.
- Co-ordinate and participate in the completion of precision mowing of resident lawns, common areas and other landscape maintenance programs, weed spraying programs, assist with planting, cultivating pruning, weeding and care of plants, shrubs and trees within the RiverBend Golf Community.
- Complete fall flowerbed and shrub care.
- Water trees, shrubs and lawns and perform other irrigation activities, as required.
- Operate mechanical snow removal equipment and shovels and removes snow and ice from designated areas such as driveways, sidewalks and entryways as required.

Experience & Qualifications:

- 3-5 years related landscaping maintenance experience.
- Must have a valid drivers license; able to drive pick-up truck, turf vehicles and mowers as well as operate small landscaping tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of equipment, tools and procedures of grounds construction and care. Good mechanical understanding and ability.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and follow all safety precautions
- Ability to train employees on the safe operation of landscape related equipment.
- Ability to work within a team environment; strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and customer service oriented
- Ability to perform physical job functions during all weather conditions.
- Dependable transportation and ability to report for flexible work schedules.
- Ability to obtain pesticide exterminators license.
