**Job Overview**
VT Controls Ltd is hiring a Procurement Coordinator to manage the company's supply of products, materials and/or services, to strategize with team members to support project procurement demands, and cut procurement expenses. The incumbent will have strong analytical, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to handle pressure of this role.
**Responsibilities**
- Purchase supply of products/materials
- Determine the lowest cost for products/materials
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
- Manage warehouse and inventory
- Track and record orders
- Track inventory and restock materials to maintain inventory level
- Receive orders and document arrivals
- Manage supply base and vendor relationships
- Analyze market and delivery systems
- Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs
- Analyze supply base
- Prepare requisitions and purchase orders
- Monitor order expenses
- Cost Management: communicate performances and costs to management
- Recommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategies
- Organize and schedule procurements in a timely manner
- Support project demands.
- Comply to scorecard measurement system to track values
- Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
- Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
**Skills**
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, with tight deadlines, under mínimal supervision.
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in procurement, business, finance, or related field and/or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of previous experience in procurement or purchasing
- Must be fully licensed G/G2 certification with clean driver abstract
- Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $3,000.00-$4,500.00 per month
