**Scope of the Role**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent of the role will be responsible for coordinate all inventory control related activities by executing inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock variance and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy. Furthermore, the Inventory Control Coordinator carries responsibilities for working with all operations on all shifts to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly and in a timely manner.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Develop the company’s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling bin level accuracy.
- Perform inventory consolidation on a regular basis.
- Manage and control annual inventory taking for all clients
- Handle and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks.
- Manage DOT (date on tires) program to ensure FIFO is adhered to.
- Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately.
- Ensure that any materials that are late or low on inventory are followed up until received
- Ensure inbound appointment times are adhered to and to back this up by installing tracking mechanism
- Provide management information on inventory performance
- Perform daily reconciliation of WMS to client inventory and report variances
- Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory related issues.
- Write and maintain accurate written procedures for all main inventory control processes and functions.
- Ensure works orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the job correctly
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of the warehouse management system
- Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
- Other tasks as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of four (4) years experience in the 3PL, warehousing and distribution sector.
- Relevant professional qualification and/or suitable background experience in inventory management.
- Experience of LEAN principles, Kaizen continuous improvement or similar production tools within a high volume, an asset.
- College degree or above in relevant field (supply chain, administration, etc.)
- Detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control / management systems and WMS
- Understanding of Logistics environment, distribution & transportation.

- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Very detailed oriented
- Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
