**This role includes a base salary + commissions** ($85,000 - $115,000)**

**Your role on our team**:The Leasing Consultant serves to guide prospective residents through the rental process while providing best-in-class customer service.

**In this role, you will**:

- Responds to rental inquiries via various channels.
- Enters leads in CRM, ensuring accurate traffic data and reporting.
- Conducts comparison shops with competitors.
- Meets/exceeds monthly rental goals.
- Interview prospective residents to determine needs and promote suitable Minto products.
- Tours prospects through properties, suites, and amenities.
- Verifies applicant suitability (credit/income checks).
- Collects rent deposits (varies by province).
- Optimizes occupancy.
- Ensures properties and vacant suites are “show-ready.”
- Manages “walk-in” prospects, answers inquiries, and assesses needs.
- Greets clients at the rental office.
- Maintains knowledge of Minto products and communities.
- Collaborates with marketing and revenue management to optimize media use and trends.
- Encourages renewals from existing residents.
- Provides feedback on leasing incentives and rental rates.
- Adheres to applicable legislation (Health and Safety, WHMIS, AODA, PIPEDA, Human Rights).
- Performs other duties as requested.

**We would like you to have**:

- High School Diploma is required. Post-secondary education in a sales or marketing discipline would be considered an asset.
- A minimum of two (2) years of sales experience
- **Rental Property Management License with BCFSA**:

- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Yardi is considered an Asset
- Valid Driver’s license and vehicle is preferred
- High energy with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
