**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Smart Hands Support**:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT equipment.
- Perform tasks such as racking and stacking of devices, cable management, and equipment swaps.
- Provide remote hands support for data centers and other facilities as needed.
- **Retail Store IT Break and Fix**:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in retail store environments.
- Perform repairs or replacements of IT equipment including POS systems, printers, and computers.
- Ensure mínimal downtime and maintain optimal operation of store technology.
- **Network and CCTV Cabling and Installation**:
- Install, terminate, and test network and CCTV cables including Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and coaxial cables.
- Mount and configure network equipment, access points, and CCTV cameras.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during installation.
- **Digital Signage Installation and Configuration**:
- Install and configure digital signage hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to digital signage displays.
- Ensure that content is displayed correctly and systems are running efficiently.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- **Experience**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, including hands-on experience with IT break and fix, network cabling, CCTV installation, and digital signage configuration.
- **Skills**:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of networking principles, including IP addressing, subnetting, and VLANs.
- Experience with cable installation techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with digital signage systems and content management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Fluency in both English and French is required.
- **Certifications**: CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- **Other Requirements**:
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
**Travel Requirements**:
- This position requires regular travel to client sites, which may include multi-day trips outside of your home city.
- Travel expenses, including lodging and per diem allowances, will be provided by the company.
- Flexibility in scheduling can be discussed to accommodate personal needs and preferences.
**Work Environment**:
- This position involves traveling to various retail store locations and client sites.
- The role requires working in diverse environments, including data centers, retail spaces, and construction sites.
