Technician Iii

BCIT’s **School of Computing and Academic Studies** is seeking a **regular, part-time (0.6**FTE**) Technician**III**.**

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Qualifications**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Forensic Science.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an accredited forensic DNA laboratory setting that uses Next Generation Sequencing.
- Experience processing casework samples and completion of an understudy training program are assets.
- Computing skills (Microsoft Office, databasing, etc.).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.

**Salary Range**
- Salary Range: $68,182 - $81,209 per annum.

**Additional Salary Information**
- Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
