Position Overview:
**Job Description**:
- Conducting customer demonstrations of mining equipment.
- Training customer operators on features of Cat mining machines.
- After sales follow up on machine operation problems.
- Extensive travel 50% throughout the dealership territory.
- Periodic travel to the U.S. for Caterpillar mining equipment operator & sales training.
- Delivery of effective customer and group presentations.
- Highly skilled at operating Caterpillar mining & construction equipment, includes: Underground Mining (R1300-R2900, AD30-AD45), Large Mining Trucks (777-797); Hydraulic Mining Shovels, Electric Rope Shovels; Large Motor Graders (24); Large Track Type Tractors (D8-D11); Large Wheel Loaders (992-994).
- Well-developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operating a variety of Cat mining equipment including large mining trucks, large motor graders, large track type tractors, large wheel loaders, electric rope shovels & hydraulic mining shovels.
- Experience with construction equipment would also be an asset.
