**Jaguar Land Rover Lakeridge is looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our growing team.**

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Accountable for service, detailing, and administration (warranty and appointment) departments
- Run an efficient and profitable service department
- Operate the department at maximum production
- Ensure costs are kept in control
- Build clientele through hands on interaction with customers
- Setting and obtaining service and profit objectives
- Maintain service records per dealership standards
- Hire qualified individuals to enhance and achieve department objectives
- Maintain good employee relations
- Provide assistance to other members of management
- Monitor and develop service staff training requirements
- Motivate, counsel, and monitor the progress and performance of all service staff
- Direct and schedule the activities of all service department employees
- Provide technical assistance as required
- Monitor payroll records
- Conduct department meetings to discuss objectives, goals, issues, etc.
- Attend management meetings as necessary
- Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service department
- Forecast goals and objectives
- Set daily/weekly/monthly goals for Service Advisor(s), Technicians, and other staff
- Update the General Manager, as necessary, with a progress report which shall include: hours produced, appointments booked, gross profit percentage and dollars, customer or employee concerns, issues with work delays, and actual vs budget amounts
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all customers, training schools, and members of the community
- Ensure customers are promptly greeted and handle customer complaints in a timely fashion
- Ensure Service Advisors break down estimates into labour and parts prior to work being started to make technicians aware of time allowances
- Ensure quality checks are in place
- Ensure customer areas and shop floor are kept clean and tidy
- Ensure courtesy vehicles are kept in excellent condition
- Control the performance of the department by using tools such as: come back reports, warranty reports, telephone surveys, and forecasts, etc.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of tools and equipment to create a more efficient work environment
- Monitor repair order trends
- Assist in collecting accounts receivable for service work
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and the regulations

Pay: Up to $140,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
