_General Job Description_
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and the execution of various projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Job Duties and Accountabilities may include,_
- Plan, organize, direct, control, support and evaluate the assigned client projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget;
- Prepare and submit project estimates as required;
- Plan and prepare project schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules;
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to President and Vice-President or their designate(s) and the client as required or requested;
- Meet contractual conditions of performance;
- Develop project controls and procedures as required;
- Supervise the activities of superintendents, subcontractors and subordinate staff;
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks;
- Assist President and Vice-President or their designate(s) with business development strategies and activities;
- Aid with procurement when required;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education, Skills and Abilities Required_
- Proven experience in project management;
- Advanced knowledge of project management processes, mean and methods;
- Expert Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards;
- Understanding of all facets of construction process;
- Familiarity with project management software packages;
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”;
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and people management skills;
- Excellent time and project management skills;

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Project management: 3 years (preferred)
- Construction: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (preferred)
