**The Fickle Fig Farm Market is looking for professional and dedicated team players with outstanding customer service skills to join our expanding team. We are looking for individuals with Barista/café experience and availability to work 4-5 days each week, a combination of weekend and weekday shifts**

This is a unique local business where customers are treated to a farm to table experience through a rotating daily/weekly menu, with the freshest ingredients, highlighting local ingredients from farmland around the Saanich peninsula.

You will be responsible for providing prompt, friendly, customer service in our fast-paced café & bakery.

**Responsibilities include** - Serving customers, preparing drinks, scooping gelato, daily cleaning tasks, key holding closing and cash out shifts. We are open until 5pm daily, but hope to extend some hours into the warmer months.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Previous experience with barista duties an asset but will train the right person.
- Be reliable and have excellent interpersonal skills with co-workers and customers.
- Be passionate and knowledgeable about the produce we grow and sell.
- Have a positive personality with the ability to work under pressure.
- Previous experience with Point Of Sale system an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Must be able to anticipate customer and team needs and show initiative
- Be able to work independently.
- Have an efficient work ethic.
- Be willing and eager to learn, asking questions when unsure.
- Be able to manage cash and balance daily deposits.
- Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be a problem solver and use their initiative.
