**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to join our team. As a Receiver, you will be responsible for managing the receipt of incoming shipments and verifying the accuracy of orders.
**Responsibilities**:
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and products
- Unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling of goods
- Verify quantities and items received against shipping documents
- Label and store received materials in designated storage areas
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with shipments to the appropriate personnel
- Check for damages and sort stock for distribution in the store
- Maintain accurate records of received invoices/goods in the warehouse management system
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Read planograms and set up store displays or rearrange merchandise to maximize sales
**Experience**:
- Must be able to bend and lift heavy boxes (up to 35kg)
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order fulfillment
- Knowledge in inventory shipping management and transaction software, as well as MS Office
Pay: $16.55-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
