**Who we need**:
We need a multi-tasker in the truest sense, who thrives on juggling projects, demands, and timelines - and doesn’t get overwhelmed doing so. As a Receiver, you will be responsible for the receiving shipments of materials, goods, and products into our Distribution Centre. In addition, you will ensure all products are received accurately, that they match order specifications, and that they are stored in the appropriate place.

**What you will do**:

- Correctly identify and receive all product in the warehouse. Unpack boxes and confirm items received against packing slips.
- Contact suppliers with discrepancies and/or damaged product and work through any issues to maintain a positive relationship.
- Assist drivers with unloading products from supplier trucks.
- Organize products in totes, for Material Handlers to put away/store appropriately.
- Process customer returns that are to go back into warehouse stock.
- Assist other areas (Picking, Shipping, Transfers) when Receiving duties are complete.

**What you will bring**:

- **_ The physical ability_**.** You will be required to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50lbs). You will be required to stand for extended periods of time and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- **_ Attention to detail and organization skills_**.** You have an eye for detail and can identify and resolve discrepancies. You can keep track of schedules, delivery times and have a keen sense of organization.
- **_ Safety awareness._**_ _You are safety-conscious and adhere to safety regulations, such as wearing proper protective equipment, following safety procedures, and identifying potential hazards.
- **_ Problem-solving and time management skills_**.** You are able to think quickly on your feet and find solutions to problems, while prioritizing tasks and effectively managing your time.
