Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
**Relevant Experience & Knowledge**:
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment
- Effectively load and unload trucks/trailers placing stock in designated locations
- Conduct final inspection of goods leaving the building
- Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system an asset
- Proactively maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including exterior walkways and parking areas
- Handling and shipping/receiving duties as assigned
- Safety focused operation of equipment; lift trucks, power walkies, pump trucks, and Order Picking machine
- Communication with drivers for deliveries or pick ups
**Qualifications**:
- Job tasks call for a basic level of acquired knowledge in warehousing
- Raymond Reach Certification and Experience considered an asset
- Commitment to accuracy and detail oriented
- Experience with powered machinery
- Basic math, and problem solving skills
