Business Analyst

Evaluate existing design requirements to document and compose user stories and acceptance criteria in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Assist in developing project timelines and sprint planning.
- Participate in developing sprint reports on the status/progress of the deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct and document sprint validation sessions with stakeholders.
- Document and track using Microsoft DevOps for change requests, defects, tasks and ensure they're addressed.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure scope is adhered to.
- Create test plans in Microsoft DevOps for internal Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing.
- Performing thorough testing and validating against user stories.
- Report on technical issues or questions and make recommendations to project team.
- Create user training documentation.
- Assist in conducting User Acceptance Testing sessions with end-users.
- Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives
- Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows
Basic Qualifications:
- Must currently hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance.
- Must have 5-10 years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Must have 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure DevOps (Agile template).
- Must have 2+ years of experience with DevOps Agile template to manage sprints, documenting features and user stories, managing product backlog, bug and change request logging, and creating and executing test plans.
- Experience with BPWin, Oracle CASE, Rational Rose or RUP.
- Must have a university degree or college/CEGEP Diploma related to computer science, information technology, or engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution. If applicable, a copy of Canadian equivalency must be provided as well. A copy of the degree or diploma must be provided if requested.
