**Job Title**: Associate Lawyer

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Represent clients in family and litigation matters, including court appearances, mediation, and arbitration.
- Handle a broad range of legal issues such as divorce, custody, support, property disputes, contractual conflicts, personal injury claims, and more.
- Conduct detailed legal research using platforms like Lexis-Nexis to support motions, pleadings, and overall case strategy.
- Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, settlement agreements, and correspondence.
- Negotiate settlements that align with clients’ goals and protect their legal interests.
- Provide clear and empathetic legal advice to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and case options.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate case files, ensuring all deadlines and procedural rules are met.
- Collaborate with colleagues, paralegals, and administrative staff to build and execute strategic legal plans.

**Qualifications**:

- Licensed and in good standing with the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated experience in family law and/or litigation (2+ years preferred).
- Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing, with attention to detail and clarity.
- Familiarity with case management systems and legal databases.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support clients through emotionally charged situations.
- Self-motivated and able to manage a caseload independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

**Compensation**:

- Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and is negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and practice area focus.
