**Job Summary**:
The Fab Shop Manager at Persaj Countertops is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the stone fabrication shop, specializing in quartz, granite, and marble products. This role involves managing production, leading the team, ensuring safety and quality standards, and collaborating with clients, designers, and contractors. The manager ensures that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operations Management**:

- Oversee the entire fabrication process from template to installation.
- Reviewing template drawings and renderings to ensure accuracy and that all specifications are correct.
- Coordinate workflow, prioritize projects, and manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet deadlines.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise, train, and develop a team of fabricators, installers, and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and promote skill development.
- Foster a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure all products meet high standards for quality and precision.
- Conduct inspections at various stages of production and prior to shipment or installation.
- Promptly address any issues with workmanship, materials, or client concerns.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma principles and track KPIs to improve production efficiency.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to mitigate risks.
- Maintain clean, organized shop areas.
- **Inventory & Equipment Management**:

- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and consumables.
- Schedule regular maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- **Client Relations**:

- Collaborate with sales teams, contractors, designers, and clients to meet project expectations.
- Address and resolve any issues during the production process.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations on design, fabrication, and installation.
- **Cost Management**:

- Manage shop budgets, control production costs, and optimize resource use.
- Track and report project costs to ensure profitability targets are met.
- Identify process improvements to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of projects, production schedules, and employee performance.
- Prepare reports on shop productivity, project timelines, and challenges.
- Track equipment usage and material consumption.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in stone fabrication management, preferably with quartz, granite, or marble.
- Strong knowledge of stone fabrication techniques, Digital template, industry standards, and equipment operation.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings; knowledge of CNC and waterjet machines is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, clients, and contractors.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues and find timely solutions.

**Work Environment**:

- Primarily based in a fabrication shop, with occasional visits to job sites.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- PPE may be required depending on the shop’s operational environment.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- **Base Salary**: $80k -$100k per year, it depends on experience.
- **Performance Reviews**: Four times per year. Performance bonuses structures may be offered based on project completion and profitability.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
