The Container Guy’s YouTube Channel is hiring a Camera Operator to join our video and marketing team. This role is focused on filming content all day, with an emphasis on capturing b-roll to support our editors.

The position is active and hands-on. You will be standing for long periods, moving between job sites, and handling equipment setup and take-down. You will work under direction from the video and marketing team to capture complete storylines and fill in missing footage so projects can be edited without delay.

**Responsibilities**
- Film day-to-day content including b-roll, in-field shoots, and studio shoots
- Set up, adjust, and take down camera equipment
- Follow direction to capture missing or supplemental shots that editors need
- Ensure equipment is properly handled and maintained

**Requirements**:

- Basic experience with digital video capture (training or work experience)
- Understanding of camera operation, framing, and shot composition
- Ability to follow direction and work independently or with a team
- Physically able to stand and move for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

**Nice to Have**
- Basic knowledge of lighting and audio setup
- Experience shooting for YouTube or social media content

The Container Guy has been in business since 2008, selling and renting shipping containers in Western Canada. Since then, we have expanded into container modifications for industrial and mining companies and have become known as the “go-to guys” for modifications.

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
