Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting products, and maximizing sales. If you have a passion for retail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product knowledge and answer any questions or concerns
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail sales preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Bilingual skills (if applicable) to assist diverse customer base
- Knowledge of technical sales (if applicable) is a plus
- Organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
