**THE ORGANIZATION**

**MANAGER, ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT**:

**Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Enterprise Risk and Regulatory Affairs, the Manager, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) manages the delivery of the risk management program for the Commission and institutes the processes needed to ensure robust risk assessment, registration, and mitigation. He/she/they advises the Board of Commissioners in their oversight of the ERM Charter and the ERM Framework. The position collaborates with all Executive members and their respective branches to identify priorities for risk mitigation and maintains strong monitoring and reporting practices throughout the year. The role serves as a key adviser to guide Executive decision-making and strategic initiatives with risk considerations.**
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Urban Planning, Political Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
- Canadian Risk Management (CRM) certification.
- Extensive experience in leading enterprise risk management, preparing enterprise risk management documents, and providing strategic reporting to senior-level management
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the Employer.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the philosophies, principles, and practices of performance measures and indicators, risk management, corporate governance, research, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, policy analysis, and projecUprogram management.
- Extensive knowledge of best practices in advancing strategy and policy in support of marginalized communities and
a high level of cultural competency.
- Ability to learn and understand the legislation, organization, strategic direction, programs, policies, and procedures of BC Housing.
- Ability to analysing problems and identifying weaknesses and conflicts in policies and procedures.
- Ability to provide leadership and advice, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate tact and diplomacy in dealing with high-profile, sensitive, and urgent matters.
- Ability to utilize judgment in presenting issues, and provide leadership, direction, and influence in facilitating appropriat e courses of action.
