**Job Summary**

Reporting to the supply chain manager, the forecast analyst is responsible to ensures Globe’s customers are in stock and Globe meets all their customers’ requirements operationally. He/She is measured on forecast accuracy and fill rate and will review all inputs to ensure those KPIs are met.

**Skill Set required**
- Excellent knowledge and ability to analyze sales and inventory numbers;
- Excellent knowledge of statistical concepts and ability to use statistical tools.
- Computer skills: Very good knowledge of Internet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Languages: French (written and oral); English an asset;
- Necessary core competencies include ability to prioritize, customer relations, teamwork, communication skills, accuracy, effectiveness under stress, analytical, flexibility and reliability;
- Assets: Knowledge of Wal-Mart’s Retail Link system, Canadian Tire’s CPFR system or a similar system;
- Experience with major retailers at the corporate level;
**Key Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Commerce Degree with concentration in operations management, finance or economics, or other related degree, will consider equivalent work experience;
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst;
**Related Tasks**
- Produces and analyzes the sales summary reports by customer and other reports such as scorecards, POS sales reports, lost sales report, forecast accuracy report and product flow, shortage claims;
- Responsible for meeting customers in-stock levels, fill rate expectations, and service levels.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Analysts for supply chain related opportunities / challenges and align on priorities;
- Participates and is a major player in POS analysis;
- Administers the on-line Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment systems;
- Prepares and maintains the customer’s forecast in the Stock IQ
- Prepares and participates in customer line reviews by presenting and cooperating in POS and sales history/analysis;
- Advises appropriate personnel of item trends (up or down);
- Establishes an open line communication between self and Customer’s Replenishment Manager and Buyer, which includes travelling to customer’s HO as necessary;
- Hold and run monthly meetings with respective account representative to share / gather field intelligence and/or customer feedback that will affect the forecast;
- Performs other tasks related to his / her area of expertise, as needed.
