Job Description purchasing analysts / supply Chain specialist

reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for the management of supplies for all imported and/or local-purchased ingredients, the follow-up of inventories, and the collaboration with suppliers.

Your main tasks will be:

- Analyze and follow up on performance indicators (inventory level, turnover rate, inventory budget, ingredient status)
- Monitor sales and order history to establish forecasts as needed.
- Ensure an up-to-date raw material specification (SPEC) are in the system and easy to access.
- Replenish inventory and maintain optimum inventory levels of raw material based on companyprocedures adhering to a minimum and maximum volumes and supplier lead times.
- Create and follow up on all purchase orders to ensure raw material availability, communicate information regarding purchase orders and delivery to Customer Service and Production in atimely manner.
- Ensure customer specifications are clearly communicated to suppliers.
- Communicate any issues (delays and shortages) in raw material orders to the Supply Chain team.
- Implement and improve purchasing strategies for materials, identifies, researches, and resolvesproblems whenever needed.
- Ensure that all inventory held is covered by back-to-back agreements, that buying decisions arein line with the procurement procedures.
- Negotiate the best possible pricing and terms with each of the suppliers in the portfolio, ensuringthat company can offer competitive pricing in the market.
- Maintain good communication with suppliers to ensure you are aware of their needs and marketconditions that are affecting them and
- Follow up with suppliers for all problems related to the receipt of products.
- Ensure the quality of the product and the respect of the quantities to be delivered.
- Create a master list of inventory and supplies, ensuring the information is up-to-date andaccessible.Qualifications and skills required:

- Have a minimum 5-year background in procurement.
- Experience within food & beverage, and/or consumer packaged goods industry highly preferred.
- computer literacy and mastery of the Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, knowing SAP is an asset.
- Possess of strong analytical and communication skills.
- Be a team player, initiative and autonomy.
- Capacity to work with a minimum level of supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and cooperate with other to achieve results.
- Capacity to adapt quickly to unforeseen situations while respecting deadline and priorities.
- Sense of urgency, attention to detail and ownership in quality of work.
- Detail oriented, multi-functional with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $75,000.00-$92,000.00 per year
