Tube Laser, Flat Laser and Press Brake Operator

System Equine takes pride in our commitment to excellence and are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Tube Laser, Flat Laser & Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team in a brand new position.

**Job Summary**:
As a Tube Laser, Flat Laser & Press Brake Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining tube laser cutting and press brake bending equipment within a world-class manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various machinery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate tube laser cutting machines to accurately cut and process metal tubing, and press brake machines to bend and form metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal cutting quality, bending accuracy, and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing machine parts for both tube laser and press brake equipment to keep them in good working condition.
- Inspect finished parts from both processes for quality and accuracy and adjust cutting parameters and bending setups as needed to meet quality standards.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve any discrepancies in part dimensions or quality for both tube laser cutting and press brake bending operations.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for both tube laser and press brake operations.
- Maintain inventory of raw materials and consumables required for both tube laser cutting and press brake bending operations.
- Document production activities for both processes, including machine settings, production volumes, and any issues encountered during the process.

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Tube Laser Operator and Press Brake Operator or similar roles, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in operating tube laser cutting and press brake machines, including setup, programming, and troubleshooting for both processes.
- Knowledge of tube laser cutting software nesting, press brake tooling, and ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints for both operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and precision in both cutting and bending operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure to meet production deadlines for both processes.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and procedures for both tube laser cutting and press brake operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in CNC machining, metal fabrication, or related fields are a plus
- Experience with Siemens control units are a plus
- Experience with CNC machines preferably Durma machines are a plus
- If you have specific experience with Metalix would be considered an asset

Shift will be Monday
- Thursday 6:30am
- 5:00pm

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
