**Our facility located at 2095 Meadowvale Blvd, Mississauga, ON is now hiring for Mixers in the production department.**

**Pay rate: 22/hr to start**

**Shift: Day: Average start time 5:00am, Monday to Friday but it can change as needed**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Scale ingredients according to formulation.
- Loading and unloading ingredients in mixing bowl.
- Operate and maintain mixing equipment.
- Retrieve boxes/bags of ingredients, replenish ingredient bins as needed.
- Perform required testing in accordance with food safety.
- Complete pre-operational startup paperwork.
- Maintain accurate and timely record keeping.
- Maintain general cleanliness of the work area.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Manufacturing experience preferred (food manufacturing is an asset).
- Experience operating machinery in a food manufacturing facility is an asset.
- **Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling, and repetitive movements.**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow directions of Supervisory staff.
- Ability to identify and communicate any found defects or products not meeting standard.
- **_Must be able to weekends and available for over time_
