There is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join the** Construction** team in** Vancouver **as a Materials and Equipment Manager. This role will be responsible for providing and ensuring logistics, organization, maintenance, delivery, and supervision and support needed to optimize equipment and materials for daily use.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are organized and maintained to a high standard and ready for daily use, arrange regular service work and maintenance for items such as trucks, concrete pumps, placing booms, cranes, pumps, scaffold, forms loading platforms concrete buckets etc.
- Coordinate all safety requirements, certifications and structural testing.
- Conduct some day to day maintenance of equipment and tools as required.
- Order parts and materials as required for daily operations.
- Logistically manage day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Organize and store equipment, materials, and spare parts in the yard and warehouse facilities, optimize space and storage, organize and maintain records of locations and use.
- Ensure all offsite locations of all equipment and tools are recorded, tracked and returned.
- Load trucks with equipment and materials using crane or forklift as required.
- Deliver equipment’s and materials to job sites as required potentially operate equipment if required.
- Load trucks using crane or forklift
- Ensure all maintenance records are kept up to date and organized
- Manage Capwest rental division as it is established.
- Manage Capwest warehouse and delivery division as its established.

**Summary of Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Forklift Licence (required)
- BC Driver's License (Class 5 or 7) (required)
- 2-4 years of experience on a construction site
