Fashion Company (Apparel) looking to hire a Production Coordinator to join its growing team.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
Communicating daily with overseas factories to ensure timely delivery and quality, and to verify that all information being sent to the factory is accurate, to prevent any delays

Maintaining and overseeing the timing and action calendar for each program in work and ensuring proper critical path for supply chain is followed

Following up on/sending comments for -lab dips, bulk fabric,1st fit to shipping samples, arts and prints, fitting approvals

Coordinate all issues along the whole production process.

Knowledgeable on aspects of garment testing and construction

Follow up the shipment sample approval, booking confirmation, shipping documents etc.,

Coordinate all aspects of shipment process, including booking, manifest, Bills of Lading and billing.

Maintain effective relationship with clients and answer general inquiries regarding shipment status

Resourceful and tenacious when negotiating best rates for freight/shipping

Tracking status with truckers & ocean and air carriers and keeping clients advised of status
Up to date knowledge on Vendor Manuals and Compliance standards/practices.

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 5 years related experience
- Experience working with Costco as a client
- Good knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and production cycle
- Experience handling Ocean and Air shipments is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong customer service and computer skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Team Player
- Strong computer skills, able to champion a new computer software
