To facilitate our client’s success, TGT is looking for a self-motivated, business-minded, growth-oriented professional to join our team as an Oracle Database Administrator.

**About you**

As our Oracle DBA, you will deal with capacity planning, evaluate database server hardware, and manage all facets of an Oracle database, including installation, configuration, design, and data migration. In addition, you will be responsible for performance monitoring, security, backups, troubleshooting, and data recovery. Your ultimate goal is to ensure that authenticated users have access to the required data when they need it and to keep the organization’s databases running smoothly and securely.

**Key responsibilities**
- Strong expertise in System Administration of multiple PeopleSoft environments
- Perform detailed root cause analysis and resolution
- Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in the environment and priorities
- Code review and migration
- PeopleSoft Database scripting as needed
- Troubleshoot and fix issues both with Oracle and the PIA architecture (DB, WEB, Application, and Process Scheduler servers)
- Patching of operating systems, including Linux and Windows Server, on a recurring basis
- Hands-on design, configuration, and sizing of enterprise architecture for PeopleSoft installations and upgrades, including all necessary hardware and software
- Design documentation for Change Management, Reporting, and Infrastructure support
- Lead and perform technical upgrade to the latest version of FSCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.5x
- Extensive expertise of PeopleSoft Update Manager
- Use of Application Designer for coding, as needed (for example, executing retrofits due to PUM bug fixes and image updates)
- Provide advanced technical support to PeopleSoft Developers and Users
- Works in coordination and collaboration with other IT teams and staff
- Scheduled on-call or overtime support, if required

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 5+ years experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator and Oracle DBA
- Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
