Cole-Munro is a growing family owned and operated business that takes pride in providing ~80% of Ontario’s rainbow trout. We process fresh, locally sourced Ontario rainbow trout that are farmed in the pristine waters of Georgian Bay, which are shipped and processed daily here at our plant in St. Thomas. Our team is passionate about providing a safe and nutritious product to the public

We are looking to hire new full-time members to work at our plant in St. Thomas processing fish. The successful applicants will work in the processing area on a range of processing steps to convert whole product into fresh fillets and dressed fish. Those who can learn quickly and take on flexibility to work multiple positions are considered an asset. New employees will be trained in food safety and expected to implement good manufacturing practices to maintain food safety. Production runs day shift only.

**Background**

Experience is not required to be accepted for this position, however, to be successful at this job it is key that individuals are highly self-motivated and task oriented. New employees must also be prepared to work a physically demanding role.

**Requirements**:

- Punctual and committed to attendance
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Flexible to work varying hours (approximately 7 - 9h daily)
- Ability to remain standing or moving for long periods of time
- Keep up with a fast-paced environment
- Must follow good manufacturing practices, safe operating procedures, and maintain worker and product safety
- Available to work some holidays (excluding December 25th)

**Compensation**

Employees will begin under a 3-month probation period. Those who fit well with our team will move on from probation and their wage will increase beyond the starting rate. After 6 months of employment, benefits and RRSP contributions are offered. Annual bonuses are also granted based on production performance.

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
