Seeking a Dependable, Conscientious & Ethical professional to organize and manage clinical trials at this medical and cosmetic dermatology clinic in Toronto. This individual will work alongside the Dermatologists, Registered Nurses, Clinic Coordinator, and our Administrative team to be responsible for the administrative aspects of the clinic's research trials, including clinical trials training, record maintenance, managing clinical trial participant leads, handling clinical trials product and proper screening of clinical trials participants.
**This is a key position and the team member must be able to demonstrate these requirements**:
- Punctuality, Consistency, Reliability in attendance and with adherence to clinic operations
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established clinic policies and clinical trials protocols
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in pressured situations and when communicating with patients
- Highly responsive to requests for updates and information from study sponsors and industry partners
- Strong commitment to high quality care and customer service
- Organization, diligence and ethics when completing clinical trials with clear communication skills
- Keyboarding/ typing ability
- Active listening, effective verbal and written communication
**General Qualifications**:
- 1+ years experience in a clinical trials setting. Preference will be given to those with Human Medical, specifically Dermatology Clinical Trials experience
- Prior experience in medical office operations an asset
- Familiarity operating electronic medical records (Accuro familiarity an asset)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and G-Suite
- Post-secondary degree from an accredited educational facility
**Consistent Duties including, but not limited to**:
- Support high quality daily operations for dermatologists (principal investigator and sub principal investigator), reception staff, medical aesthetician, nurse(s)
- Answer phone calls with courtesy and correctly addressing patients’ / trial participants' phone queries
- Perform daily operations as per the DermAtelier on Avenue office practice manual
CLINICAL TRIALS
- complete training in clinical trials portals (e.g. Health Canada Food & Drug; the TCPS2 Training - Tri-council policy statement) for current and future clinical trials
- other clinical trials training as per Clinical trial sponsor requirements/ study requirements
- maintenance of clinical trials binders
- maintenance and monitoring of clinical trials equipment
- familiarity with and operation of participant registry portals
- obtaining informed consent and screening of potential study participants

Schedule: minimum of 2 days per week; with requirement to be on-site in-clinic
Payment: Hourly, $25 - 28, dependent upon experience
Other incentives: skin care product demos, gratis product, complimentary cosmetic procedures and services provided quarterly
