**Job description**:
Tiny Hoppers Park Lawn location is currently hiring full time Infant and Preschool early childhood educators/ECA to join our team.

**_ Responsibilities and Duties_***:
**Teacher Role**:

- Ensuring you are adhering to the regulations of the Child Care Licencing Act at all times.
- Creating lesson plans based on the children's interests in addition to our in house curriculum.
- Cleaning of the classroom at end of shift.
- Greeting and assisting parents.
- Maintaining records in accordance to the Child Care Licencing Act.
- Checking staff communication book before every shift.
- Communicating and interacting positively with parents, coworkers, the children and owners.
- Communicating any concerns or issues to DIRECTOR or Owner immediately.
- Changing themes and boards, Special Event planning.

**KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE**:
Other duties upon request.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to keep children engaged.
- Experience with Emergent Curriculum.
- Current CPR/First Aid. (or willing to obtain)
- Current police clearance with vulnerable sector. (or willing to obtain)
- Immunization Record and TB test.
- Good organizational skills and communication. (Oral and written)
- Must have ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch and kneel.
- Must be able to create planned daily program and activities.
- Must be able to keep classroom clean and tidy.
- Must be able to maintain proper documentation, log books and staff communication books.
- Must be able to communicate and interact positively with parents, co-workers and the children.

**Job Types**: On Call/Part Time, Permanent.
