We also sell into every major channel in the food distribution system and offer our consumers a variety of indulgent donuts. We do this by building a team that is passionate about making donuts and driven by a sense of pride and dedication.

**Daily and overall essential activities and responsibilities**
- Directing the logistics department and staff members to ensure the department operates in a
- smooth, efficient manner.
- Creating and managing the department budget and company’s supply chain strategy.
- Maintaining and managing inventory by logging in all transfers and logging out all shipments
- Developing, analyzing, reviewing, and implementing administrative department systems and

controls.
- Creating, reviewing, and reporting department data and using this information to solve

potential problems or strengthen performance.
- Establishing and enforcing department regulations, guidelines, and timelines.
- Training, Handling or monitoring staff as they perform basic office tasks.
- Ensuring that information and records are organized and stored in a proper manner to BRC

standards.
- Ensuring that the office systems, controls, policies, procedures, and workspaces are in
- compliance with current regulations or legislation.
- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Evaluate and report on KPIs
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Supply Chain or related degree.
- 3+ years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, Supply chain role within the food industry.
- Solid food regulatory understanding of both Canadian and US regulatory requirements according to CFIA, Health Canada, FDA, USDA.
- Strong system skills, including ability to work with MS Office and ERP software.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, problem solving, presentation and analytical skills.
- Must be organized, detail oriented and be able to prioritize projects and tasks.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
