Prodomax is looking to hire a **MATERIAL SERVICES MANAGER**.

**Job Summary**:
**The Material Services Manager** will report to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for managing a team of material services personnel, provide ongoing direction for the department, proactively partner with internal and external skilled trades, senior management, and suppliers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and support existing members of the Material Services and Logistics Department.
- Coordinate the onboarding of new employees within the group.
- Create annual budget requirements for building maintenance and upgrades. Prepare quote documentation for senior management review. Manage contracted services for building upgrades.
- Work with other department managers to ensure department services are being properly delivered.
- Maintain shipping, receiving and material handling procedures and workflows to ensure compliance.
- Communicate and co-ordinate with internal teams and customers with respect to transportation arrangements, equipment rentals and customs documentation.
- Ensure shipping documentation is consistent and properly created in all situations.
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of shipment.
- Work with the Customs Services to ensure the best methods of quoting and contracting freight services are followed.
- Organize and maintain fleet and material handling equipment maintenance programs. Maintain logs as required.
- Organize fixed building equipment maintenance such as HVAC and Loading Doors. Maintain logs as required.
- Ensure daily maintenance or repairs are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.
- Evaluate, maintain, and report on existing material inventory levels (MRO/Global) to allow company to operate efficiently.
- Maintain tool inventory, accuracy, and end of life replacement.
**Job Qualifications**:
- College completion or work experience equivalent post-secondary education in business highly preferred - logistics related education or Supply Chain training certificate is an asset.
- A driver’s license is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar materials management and maintenance working environment.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Possess strong excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables).
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experienced with corporate ERP systems.
