The general duties and responsibilities for a Material Handler for All Ontario Recycling are listed as follows:

- Operating a Caterpillar (hydraulic excavator) with both grapple and magnetic attachment
- Loading trailers with scrap material and sorting of materials
- Performing daily pre-trip inspections of equipment and accurate record keeping
- Advising manager of any defects in equipment
- Heavy duty material handling in a scrap metal yard
- Placing material in appropriate areas of the yard
- Feeding a Baler with scrap material
- Performing daily pre-trip inspections of equipment & accurate record keeping
- Advising manager of any defects in equipment
- Other typical operating duties may apply

**Skills/Qualifications**
- 2-3 years experience operating a Caterpillar
- 2-3 years material handling experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Self motivated and able to work independently
- Must thrive in fast paced work environment
- Must be organized, independent, resourceful and dynamic

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $27.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- material handler: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
