Richmond, Canada Box Bus Inc Full time

Box Bus has immediate openings for full-time or part-time, permanent owner-operator drivers.This position requires your own ALL-ELECTRIC mini-van, car or SUV.
You are driving your own car so N licences are acceptable.

Deliveries are within the Richmond, Delta, Surrey, Burnaby, Tri-cities, NW, Vancouver and North & West Vancouver but in one tight, dense zone each day, not all over the place. (Eg. Downtown, UBC and Kitsilano or South Vancouver and South Burnaby) 6:00 am start time, 6-8 hour days. Routes will be 100-150km or less. Shifts are available every day of the week. Part-time and Full-time where you customize which days are available.
- Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
- Cargo is clothing. Light, small packages take up very little room.
- Bi-weekly pay on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. No deductions T4-A contractor.

**Requirements**:

- Safety Vest (Class 2) (100% Mandatory at Warehouse, not on road, but I advise wearing a vest while delivering.)
- Must provide a vehicle for the work. All-Electric Minivan, Car or SUV. Electric vehicles are required, light, small cargo.
- Winter / All-Weather Tires (Not All-Season October-April)
- Can safely get in and out of your van multiple times a day.
- Have a smartphone with a data plan.
- Have a valid BC Class 5 or 7 (standard license for cars) driver's license. NO OUT-OF-COUNTRY DRIVER LICENSES ALLOWED (Please go to Driver Services and get your Canadian License)
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred:

- 1+ year of courier experience in the GVA.
- Customer service background.
- A can-do attitude.
- Time management skills.

Pay: $200.00-$250.00 per day
