Box Bus has immediate openings for full-time, permanent independent contractor drivers.

This position requires an independent contractor with their own **mini-van or SUV.** (No cars)

Deliveries are within the Richmond, Delta, Surrey, Burnaby, Tri-cities, Vancouver and North & West Vancouver but in one zone each day, not all over the place.. 10 am start time, 6-8 hour days. Monday through Friday every week.
- The commission is 70% of the Gross-rate-pay. A typical day is 50-60 stops ~$210-$280/day.
- Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
- Monday to Friday job with statutory holidays off.

**Requirements**:

- Can lift up to 30lbs. (Heavy boxes pay considerably more. Most boxes are ~5lbs or less)
- Have a Handcart/Dolly.
- Safety Vest (Class 2), and Hard-toes Shoes/boots. (100% Mandatory at Warehouse, not on road)
- Must provide a vehicle for the work. Minivan or SUV. (Cars are too small)
- Must have a Bluetooth headset for safe, hand-free communication with dispatch. (Usually rare)
- Must have/make a WhatsApp account for communication.
- Can safely get in and out of your van multiple times a day.
- Have a smartphone with a data plan.
- Have a valid BC Class 5 (standard license for cars) driver's license (No N)
- No DUI/DWI or suspensions within five previous years.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Excellent English communication skills.

**Preferred**:

- 1+ year of courier experience in the GVA.
- Customer service background.
- A can-do attitude.
- Time management skills.
