National Construction Placement Leader

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Construction and Surety team at Marsh. This role will be based in Toronto. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

**We will count on you to**:
- Administer, mentor and oversee performance management for the National Construction Placement team, coordinate workload of team members and ensure team is appropriately staffed to meet client needs.
- Instruct placement strategy by utilizing risk expertise and knowledge of industry and carriers to develop placement solutions that meet complex client needs.
- Develop methods for the go-to-market strategy and provide input on pricing of services supporting client retention and new business production.
- Guide strong working relations with carriers and or underwriters to create innovative approaches to unique client needs and provide cohesive client service.
- Audit and finalize commission structure with underwriter in accordance with client direction and agreement.
- Achieve a thorough understanding of changing insurance and risk market conditions and informs client teams, clients and carriers of major developments affecting various types of coverage.
- Devise new products and innovative solutions that address complex client needs.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
