Print Machine Operator Job Description

The Printing Machine Operator will use machinery to print and repackage products in a safe and hygienic manner. The operator will perform tasks like printing, repackaging products, sealing, stamping, perform corrective machine adjustments, operate machinery, record production information, clean machines and immediate work areas, and check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.

**Job Description**:

- Enter data into print machine computer based on each specific product/project requirement
- Receive items into an allocated area in the warehouse
- Operate machinery to print and repackage items
- Assign lot and serial numbers to products for tracking purposes
- Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance
- Transport materials between production area and storage areas

Inventory Management:

- Keep accurate records of products received and finished goods produced
- Keep track of serial/batch/lot numbers of products
- Perform regular checks and audits of supplies and products
- Ensure that materials are properly labeled, categorized, and stored

Maintenance:

- Perform daily checks and maintenance on the equipment used
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from obstacles to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Team Collaboration:

- Coordinate with colleagues and supervisors to prioritize tasks and workload.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Safety Compliance:

- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in safety training programs and initiatives.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in teams
- Good computer skills required
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and practices
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods (not more than 40lbs).
- Capability to bend, stoop, and reach in tight spaces as necessary.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
