THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our eCommerce Technology team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to show your passion for delivering everyday luxury experiences to Aritzia’s clients by leveraging technology to meet and exceed the vision and mission of the business. As the Vice President, eCommerce Technology, you will oversee the design, development, implementation, and support of Aritzia’s eCommerce and Mobile app systems. You will also create and execute the vision and comprehensive plan to shift Aritzia’s ecommerce and mobile solutions to a next generation architecture. This role will be a critical part of the cross functional eCommerce leadership team, including Technology, Digital Product Management, Digital User Experience, Creative Services, Digital Marketing, Omni, and Data & Analytics. You will represent the very best of solution delivery in a variety of large scale and transformative technology. THE ROLE

As the Vice President, eCommerce Technology, you will lead the team to:

- Establish the vision, mission, and strategy for eCommerce technology at Aritzia, prioritizing the right opportunities at the right time.
- Maximize the value of eCommerce technology solutions for our customers & business.
- Spearhead all technical facets of Aritzia's eCommerce initiatives.
- Maintain world-class eCommerce solutions through reliability engineering, problem management, service escalation support and proactive maintenance practices
- Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Vice President, eCommerce Technology has:

- Proven and best-in-class skills, education, experience and/or applicable certifications in:

- Expert level skills and proven experience managing large scale digital eCommerce solutions including desktop and native mobile
- Extensive skills related to MACH architecture and platform engineering technologies
- Significant experience in the Digital and eCommerce space and in a senior technical leadership role
- Strong understanding of order management systems and digital marketing
- Effective communication skills with the ability to translate complex and technical information into business terms
- Extensive understanding of agile methodology in an enterprise environment (SAFE agile experience a plus)
- Expert understanding of software delivery lifecycle with packaged software and in-house developed software
- Strong understanding of enterprise practices including backlog management, continuous development, quality assurance, automation, observability & alerting)
- Experience with next generation technologies to build digital experiences and capabilities (AI, ML)
- In-depth understanding of capital and operational budget planning and management

- The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
- The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
